Our Training, Learning, and Development is headed up by our Service Development Manager, with other members of Management and Senior Management Team also delivering some courses. This will then be followed by shadow shifts from an experienced staff member, Senior Support Worker, or Manager.
Mainstay Trust is accredited at the Gold Award Level by the Investor in People Award and we always monitor the training, learning, development, and well-being of our workforce. We have CPD opportunities for individuals who apply themselves and are motivated to drive up the quality of the services they work in by giving the people they support the best day possible.
Mainstay Trust use an external training provider that helps people to achieve their SVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care and we also have an internal process that helps people to get registered with the SSSC. Mainstay also provides Practice Leadership training for all the workforce to ensure they are knowledeable about all recent legislative Scottish updates that are relevant to the Health and Social Care Sector and their job roles and responsibilities.
