Day Opportunities

Day Opportunities can help you work towards your personal outcomes each time you have support. Mainstay Trust work hard to ensure we can match the right staff, with the right skill set, and similar interests as we feel this helps to give you the best day possible. Having your own dedicated identified staff promotes continuity of support and enables you to have the optimum chance of being happy with your support. It demonstrates that Mainstay have tried their best to staff profile with you to ensure you get the right support, at the right time, with the right person.

Individual Activities

We support people across Glasgow to do all sorts of activities every day.

Here is a list of some of the things we support people to do to give you an idea of the acitivities others are doing, but remember it really is up to you and if you want to do something that is not on the list its not a problem as your staff member is with you to make sure you have the best day you can:

Learning new Life Skills/Independent Living Skills
Attending Health Appointments
Working (Voluntary or paid)
Bus/Train trips all over Scotland
Ten Pin Bowling
Swimming/Sporting Acvtivities (watching or participating)
Walking
Visiting historic and informative places

Cinema
College
Activity Groups (organised by Mainstay or other organisations)
Eating out
Library visits
Nights Outs
Discos
Shopping (window or buying)
